　牛皮纸的质地，上面用吹画表现的东郭先生与狼，抽象而生动……著名音乐人浮克最新专辑《东郭先生》的封面设计彻底体现着浮克作品的平民思想。
　自1998年第一张专辑《西行路上》推出后，浮克用7年的时间打磨出了风格迥异的《东郭先生》。和时下许多流水线方式制作和号称阵容强大的唱片相比，浮克在这张专辑里却彰显了他作为一名音乐人的全能功力———词、曲、编、唱兼于一身。而更重要的是，浮克对生命和生存现状的关注，对心灵和命运的关注，以及他独特的音乐理念，在专辑中都得到了最彻底的交代。
　历尽坎坷的浮克用他特有的苍凉嗓音唱出了与众不同的生活韵味，正如新专辑中的《今年》所唱———“我坐在高楼顶层，听时间飞过头顶，看周遭人间的伤感电影，此刻我口袋空空，灵魂却依然超重”，苍凉空灵的感觉直透心扉；而主打歌《坐在岸边的鱼》则更让人感到一种歌者自发的升华；当然，还有那首《东郭先生》，娓娓道来的一个现代寓言故事，同时不显山不露水地标新立异了一种新的音乐风格。
　 mp3、flash、网络、刀郎、《老鼠爱大米》、两只蝴蝶、网络歌手、发烧音乐、翻唱……林林总总构成了目前流行音乐的“清明上河图”。老歌手找不着北，民歌手失去方向感，网络歌曲像股市的公告牌，每秒钟都在更新闪烁。
　 “我觉得网络把一切秩序都给打乱了，但这种乱是好事。音乐制作门槛的降低，加上网络的自助推广，让许多原本只能是爱好者的歌手作者有机会角逐流行，他们的作品来得更直接，更真实，更自我，更接近生活，因此让一些习惯假大空，习惯虚张声势的音乐越来越没有出路。”浮克认为，近年刀郎、“老鼠”的流行至少说明，人们不再盲目接受所谓大唱片公司、大电视台和各种晚会的“忽悠”了。因为网络，他们可以自由回归到内心的选择。
　作为国内乐坛真正意义上的音乐全才，浮克早期创作的《快乐老家》、《为你》为中国歌坛带来了一缕清新空气，后来的新民歌《幸福万年长》、《月亮女儿》、《中国红》又为民歌开创了一条突围路线。
